Quality Assurance Officer

 

Job Responsibilities

• Promoting quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization
• Setting QA compliance objectives and ensuring set targets are accomplished
• Generate script for application quality control
• Defines and implements IT quality assurance practices and procedures
  • Software Verification and Validation Plan
  • Software Integration Plan
  • Software Configuration Management Plan
• Develops, publishes and implements test plans
  • UI Test (User-Friendly and Usability)
  • Unit Test
  • Integration Test
  • Load Test
• Write and maintains test automation according to guidelines
• Participation in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software.
• Delivering technical support and deployment to client site
• Write technical documentations including business logic, application design, and UML documentations
• Makes recommendations for product or service updates in compliance with customer’s specifications
• Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts
• Setting up and maintaining controls and documentation
• Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
• Monitoring performance through data collection and producing statistical reports
• Supervision of technical and operational staff in carrying out tests and checks

 

Job Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or equivalent tertiary qualifications with solid project management, quality assurance, and/or IT audit training is preferred
• A minimum requirement of at least 2 years of experience in coding in C, C++ and JAVA
• Minimum 2 years experience with application programming or testing
• In depth knowledge of project management, systems development life cycle, testing, IT audit in a medium/large IT environment
• Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of general quality assurance methodologies
• Have been involved in assisting with Project Management Services, Applications project managers, infrastructure team leaders and internal auditors such as in the development and document processes, standards and compliance requirements
• Good understanding of SQL and Windows Programming
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within Software Development

 

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

• Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office Tools is required including NT, Windows Server OS, .NET environments (C#)
• Must be familiar, in general, with testing tools, security controls, various technology platforms and programming languages
• Acquired basic knowledge in Whitebox and Blackbox tests
• Ability to utilize industry wide best practices and compliance to regulatory requirements
• Confident and fluent minimum in both written and spoken Indonesian and English
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills plus a strong attention to detail is required
• Demonstrates a degree of creativity and latitude is a plus
• Good in Mathematics and/or Statistics
